Super Chunky Neckwarmer in Progress

So what happens when you get incredibly chunky, beautiful violet yarn for Christmas and your friend lends you her #17 knitting needles? A scarflette, that's what. [Scarflette is a mini scarf that is usually held together with buttons].

As you can see below, I'm nearly done with this little experiment of mine - it's the first of its kind that I've made. It's a bit warm now since it's late April already but it's blazer weather so it should come in handy.
